A. Abdollahpouri (Ph.D., University of Hamburg, Germany) is an associate professor of computer networks at the Department of Computer and IT Engineering, University of Kurdistan, Sanandaj, Iran. He joined the UoK as the academic staff in 2005. Currently, he is  giving courses in "computer  networks I  & II", "computer architecture" and "operating systems" at the undergraduate level and "data communication networks" and "neural networks" at the graduate level in University of Kurdistan. He has also teaching experience in various courses such as "Microprocessor lab", "assembly language" , "visual basic programming" in Amirkabir University of Technology, University of Applied Science and Technology, and Islamic Azad University of Sanandaj.

His research interests are in various fields of computer networks and computer architecture such as:  IPTV, Quality of Service in Wireless Networks, Multimedia Networking, WiMAX Networks, Modeling Behavior of IPTV Users, Complex Networks, Recommender Systems, Pipelining and formal verification of RISC processors.

He was working as a system programmer in Telecommunication Company of Tehran from  2001 to 2005.
